This is the privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) that governs how we, Anywell Hosting Solutions Ltd. (“Company,” “we,” “our” or “us”), use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive, and store about individuals in connection with the use of Anywell Slack application (the “App”).
Introduction
We have implemented this Privacy Policy because your privacy, and the privacy of other users, is essential to us. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices and the choices you can make about how your Personal Information is collected and used in connection with the App. “Personal Information” means information (defined by applicable law) related to an identified and/or identifiable individual.
Consent and Modification
You are not legally obligated to provide us with Personal Information, and you hereby confirm that providing us Personal Information is of your own free will. By using the App, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our collection, processing, and sharing of Personal Information for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or otherwise use the App. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such change will be effective ten (10) days following the posting of the revised Privacy Policy, and your continued use of the App after that means that you accept those changes.
What Personal Information We Collect and How We Collect It
If you choose to use our App, we will collect the following Personal Information: General Slack Profile information: We will collect your name, email address, and Slack user ID, slack channels you are part of - as registered in your Slack profile/account.Information collected through the use of the App: We will collect information that you will choose to share through the App – including information you provide in order to create a user account, and information related to the days you plan to work from the office, work from home or plan to be on leave.Information you provide us about other employees: To the extent you choose to "Activate" the App and invite other peers in Slack's channels in which you are registered to join the App, we will receive Slack Profile Information pertaining to other members of such channels. Log Files. When you browse or visit our Site, we may use log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages, and any other information your browser may send to us. We may use such information to analyze trends, administer the App, track users’ movement around the App, and gather demographic information.Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies. When you browse or visit our Site, our App may utilize “cookies,” anonymous identifiers, and other tracking technologies for us to provide our App and present you with information that is customized for you. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about activity on the App. Certain cookies and other technologies may serve to recall Personal Information, such as an IP address previously indicated by a user. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. The Way We Use Personal Information. We may use such Personal Information collected through the App in the following ways:To enable you to use the App, and provide the services included therein.To improve and develop the App. To communicate with you about the App, including to provide updates and information about new features.
The Way We Share Personal Information. We do not share or disclose your Personal Information with third parties except in the following ways:We may transfer your Personal Information to our local or foreign subsidiaries or affiliated companies for the purpose of storing or processing such information on our behalf. Such information may be transferred to other countries. We require that these parties agree to process such information in compliance with our Privacy Policy. We may share your Personal Information with our third-party service providers and partners, but only to assist us with our business operations and to provide our App to you and other users. Such information may be transferred to other countries. We use commercially reasonable efforts to only engage or interact with third-party service providers and partners that post a privacy policy governing their processing of Personal Information.Information that you choose to share via the App will be shared and visible to your peers that are members of the relevant slack channel. We may disclose your Personal Information or any information you submitted via the App if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Company, our users, yourself or the public.We may also transfer your Personal Information in the event that we are acquired by or merged with a third-party entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event. In such cases, we reserve the right to transfer or assign Personal Information in connection with the foregoing events, including if such transfer is to an entity located outside your jurisdiction (including in the US).
Use of Anonymous Information. We may use Anonymous Information (as defined below) or disclose it to third-parties service providers in order to improve our App and enhance your experience with the App. We may also disclose Anonymous Information to third parties, including our customers and partners. “Anonymous Information” means information that does not include identification of an individual user, such as aggregated information about the use of our App.
Your Rights We respect the right of our users to privacy and wish to keep only required, current and accurate information. It is important for us that you know that you are allowed to review the Personal Information that we store about you, and whenever you find that this information is not correct, complete, clear or updated, you are allowed to contact us with a detailed request to correct or delete the aforementioned information. Therefore, while we strive to use reasonably acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality.
